By using Mehrab, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mehrab (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use the Service, or use it under the supervision of a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, and not to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, nor to use it in any way that could harm the Service or other users.

Subscriptions, Purchases and Billing

The Service may offer optional paid subscriptions and one-time purchases. The title, duration, and price are shown to you before you buy. Payments are processed by the store you purchased through (Apple App Store, Google Play, Huawei AppGallery, or Microsoft Store) under that store's terms. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel a subscription in your store account settings. Except where required by applicable law or the store's policy, payments are non-refundable. Free features and free minutes are provided at our discretion and may change or end at any time.

Session Recordings and Voice Consent

You choose whether your voice recordings may be used. You are shown a notice that you can accept or decline, and a setting you can change at any time from the "More" page ("My voice as an ongoing charity"). When you agree, you consent to your voice recordings being used to develop and improve the Service, to train AI technologies, and to be shared with research partners for charitable (waqf) and commercial purposes, kept within an educational context. A copy is kept for your review for 7 days and is then automatically and permanently deleted. If you decline, or later withdraw your consent, your voice will no longer be used and your recordings will not be kept for your review; recordings you previously consented to may continue to be used as an ongoing charity.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content — excluding the text of the Holy Qur'an, which is in the public domain — is owned by Mehrab or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the content you submit, subject to the license described in the Session Recordings section for any recordings you consent to.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mehrab and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for a violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
